The Nutri-Placer 940 HSLD is Case IH’s newest addition to its fertilizer applicator family with the HSLD, or High-speed Low Disturbance row unit being a new option never offered before. Speed and efficiency are the name of the game here, with the Nutri-Placer 940 HSLD capable of minimal soil disturbance while still reaching speeds up to 11mph. That means that operators can cover up to 900 acres in a 12-hour day while still ensuring precise nutrient management.

Komatsu has signed an agreement to acquire from Prenbec Equipment the Quadco and Southstar forestry attachment operations, excluding the forestry equipment businesses of Tanguay and Forespro delimbers. By adding the Quadco felling heads and Southstar large harvester heads to the existing lines of Log Max and Komatsu small and medium-sized harvester heads, Komatsu looks to become an industry leader in forestry attachments. The move will allow Komatsu to offer its customers a full range of forestry attachments.

EarthForce has expanded its product line with new Hex rubber tracks for compact track loaders. The new Hex rubber tracks were designed for improved traction and versatility on all surfaces and ground conditions.

Superior Industries announced it has built the first ever 210-foot (64m) road-portable telescoping radial stacking conveyor. This TeleStacker Conveyor was designed for a frac sand operation in Texas. In addition to high capacity frac sand applications, operations that may benefit from a longer unit include sites that need to build inventory with large tonnage stockpiles and shipload applications.

Vanguard is releasing new global single cylinder engines designed with consumer input for maximum performance. The ground-up design process allowed Vanguard to engineer all-new carburetion, ignition and combustion systems to promote reliable starting in any environment. To secure four-season starting, the engine is designed to start at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit. In addition, all surfaces inside the carburetor that contact fuel feature a special corrosion and stale fuel resistant plating.

John Deere today launched its second “Small Machines. Big Impact” contest. The contest encourages construction contractors, landscapers, farmers and rental industry professionals across the country to express how they would drive positive change in their communities if they were to win a new John Deere G-Series machine.

The new John Deere 344L compact wheel loader is equipped with smooth auto-shift technology designed for increased speed and enhanced performance in ag material handling, landscaping, snow removal and construction operations at larger job sites. The Articulation Plus steering system on the 344L aims to allow operators to lift more during turns. Its design also features an articulated frame plus rear-wheel steer, providing a tighter turning radius along with improved stability and additional lift capacity.

The new John Deere G-Series mid-frame skid steers and compact track loader (CTL) will be showcased at the 2018 World of Concrete in Las Vegas. The new mid-frame models have a 69–74 (52–55 kW) horsepower range to deliver increased performance and higher pushing power. All three models are capable of loading a 10-foot (3 m) sidewall dump truck or hopper. To help operators reach new heights in a medium-sized package, the 324G skid steer and 325G CTL feature  a height-to-hinge pin of 10 feet, 6 inches (3.20 m). Meanwhile, optional ride control and bucket self-level combination reduce material spillage and make for a smoother ride over rough and uneven terrain.

The new Advance Charger front discharge mixer truck series by Terex is designed and built specifically for delivering concrete in urban areas. The models were unveiled at the 2018 World of Concrete event being held in Las Vegas. The new Charger truck is lighter, shorter, and offers the same tight turning radius characteristics of traditional Terex Advance front discharge mixers to meet the expectations of concrete producers delivering concrete in densely populated cities.

Designed to deliver optimal paving for both slab-on-grade and bridge applications, the Terex Bid-Well 3600 paver boasts a range of available features that aim for enhanced smoothness and improved visibility during nighttime paving operations.
