Talbert Manufacturing, a leading heavy-haul and specialized trailer manufacturer, has announced the completion of a customized version of its 60CC-RC trailer that offers enhanced weight distribution options and a reinforced deck for greater versatility to meet load requirements in various states.

MAC Liquid Tank Trailer (MAC LTT), a subsidiary of MAC Trailer Enterprises, Inc., announced the expansion of their stainless-steel division with the purchase of the Mt. Pleasant, Michigan facility located at 1799 Gover Parkway. The $10 million expansion, with the support of $7 million in New Market Tax Credits (NMTC), includes 15.85 acres, a 105,000 square-foot production and office space, and new equipment with aspirations to increase production capabilities to meet the company's growing needs.   

MAC Trailer Enterprises, Inc. announced the expansion of their aluminum dump trailer product line with the purchase of Bullet Trailer. This facility is now formally MAC Bullet Manufacturing, Inc., currently located at 410 Factory Road, Sunnyside, Washington. The $2 million expansion includes 3.92 acres, an almost 25,000 square-foot leased facility and office space, all necessary equipment, and the registered trademark (# 1,622,364) for the Bullet and design.

Royal Truck & Trailer, a premier midwestern transportation supplier of new and used trailers and heavy-duty truck and trailer service, parts, and accessories, announced it has acquired Arista Truck Systems. Arista is a leading Morgan truck body dealer, which specializes in designing and installing commercial truck equipment. The purchase of Arista Truck Systems, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, continues Royal’s mission to be the best resource for the transportation industry.

Landoll has introduced a new option for Models 855 and 860 Construction Series Detachable trailers. The drop side trailer option features a 5” lowered track area and a raised center. This specialty option benefits end users that are hauling tall excavators, cranes or vehicles that must obtain the very lowest deck height possible.

Talbert Manufacturing offers its Tag-A-Long Austin Carry-All Series (AC Series) Trailers to minimize load times and maximize productivity for everyday hauling of small- to mid-size equipment. The line of 10- to 25-ton tag-a-long trailers features industry-leading loaded deck heights, durable construction and a low, 7-degree load angle to transport a variety of equipment — from asphalt rollers and machines for dirt work to cable and pipe for gas and electric utility applications. Talbert’s AC Series is ideal for use in industries such as general construction, paving, agriculture and oil fields.

Talbert Manufacturing introduces the 35FG-BVTL — a fixed-neck, drop deck trailer for small- to mid-size equipment machinery movers operating in oil fields, agriculture and construction and demolition. The 35-ton trailer is rated at 70,000 pounds concentrated in 20 feet and features hydraulic ramps for safe, efficient loading and unloading in confined spaces.  

Talbert Manufacturing updated the 60CC/55SA-LD trailer for increased flexibility to meet differing hauling regulations. This unique trailer showcases a new hydraulically operated system to allow operation of the third axle only or a combination of third and fourth axles. The 60CC/55SA-LD also features an industry-leading 18-inch loaded deck height — 2 inches lower than competitive models — and 6-inch ground clearance. It also gives operators the ability to switch between configurations, for state-of-the-art load versatility and limiting the need for additional permitting.

Talbert Manufacturing offers the 65SA Modular Trailer with unique design that features a flip extension to accommodate a tandem- or tri-axle jeep dolly, allowing for maximum load configurations. It can also pair with Talbert’s revolutionary E2 or E3Nitro axle extension, which dampens axle movement and controls load transfer. The modular trailer maintains a 65-ton rating at half the deck length with a 16-inch loaded side deck height and 6-inch loaded road clearance.

ASA Electronics has collaborated with ATW to develop a new version of their iN-Command Control System specifically for utility trailers. This addition brings automated smart control to the utility trailer market for the first time. This iN-Command technology for trailers will be available on select models from ATW brands including Big Tex Trailers and PJ Trailers.

Talbert Manufacturing is now offering their 60CC/55SA-LD trailer, built for versatility. Pairing with Talbert’s optional East Coast-style E1Nitro axle extension, this trailer features a 60-ton capacity with a close-coupled configuration and a 55-ton hauling capacity with a spread axle configuration. The innovative new design of this model also provides ultimate flexibility for switching between configurations, in order to meet hauling regulations.

Dump trucks are larger and tip over more easily than ever before. With the increased frequency of tipping hazards comes the need for a proper dump truck tip-over prevention system. The WINK anti-tip system for dump trucks and dump trailers provides four extra layers of load dump protection to keep dump trailers from turning over.

This past March, at the Mid-America Trucking Show, the American Historical Truck Society had the first ever trailer ever produced by Talbert Manufacturing on exhibit. This 80 year old piece of equipment gave attendees a chance to get an up-close and personal look at the trailer that would set in motion a legacy of innovative and reliable heavy-haul solutions from then on out. Felling Trailers, Inc. debuted their new EZ Tilt Technology using the FT-12 EZ-T tilt trailer this past February at the 2018 Rental Show in New Orleans, LA. This EZ Tilt Technology provides a 5-degree load angle by allowing for ground level loading with its rotating torsion suspension, which in turn, allows the trailer to load and unload low clearance equipment with ease, including things like floor sweepers, scissor lifts, and rollers.
