New Holland's newest contribution to the world of agriculture comes in the new 9200 CornMaster Series of corn heads. Designed specifically for planting in row spacings of 20” and 22” and ranging from 12-18 row units, this series provides maximum combine productivity. Moreover, these narrow corn heads outperform all others in terms of grain in the bin and clean picking resulting in less MOG (material other than grain).

The Nutri-Placer 940 HSLD is Case IH’s newest addition to its fertilizer applicator family with the HSLD, or High-speed Low Disturbance row unit being a new option never offered before. Recently in Racine, Wisconsin, Case IH demonstrated its continuation of support for the next generation of agricultural advocates and leaders by honoring the finalists from each category of the 2018 American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) Young Farmers & Ranchers awards program. The prizes included three new Farmall 50A tractors and six large tool chests with $500 Case IH parts gift cards to finalists in each category. There were nearly 100 participants total, and 9 of those walked away with these awesome prizes.

Kubota has debuted six new specialty ag tractors designed for narrow, low profile and high clearance applications at its annual dealer meeting. The new M Series introductions include the M4N-071 ROPS, M5N-091 ROPS and M5N-111 ROPS narrow tractors; the M5N-091PK Power Krawler tractor; the M6L-111 low profile* tractor; and the M6H-101 high clearance* tractor. The new M Series specialty tractors bring greater variety, performance and operator options for specialty crop producers. These tractors are available at Kubota dealerships now.

Fendt’s new Xaver system uses small robot units operating in swarms and a cloud solution to plan, monitor and accurately document the precise planting of corn. Satellite and data management in the cloud allows navigation around the clock operations, with permanent access to all data. The exact position and sowing time of each seed is accurately recorded. Knowing exactly where the seed has been planted opens up new potential for further processes, since subsequent operations such as crop protecting or fertilizing, can be performed precisely at the individual plant.

AGCO and Fendt have launched the Fendt e100 Vario, a practical, all-electric compact tractor with 67 HP (50 kW) power output, which can operate for up to 5 hours under actual operating conditions. The energy source is a 650 V high-capacity lithium-ion battery with a capacity of around 100 kWh. The battery is charged either with 400 V and up to 22 kW via a standard CEE outdoor socket, or by a supercharging option with direct voltage. With a standard CCS type 2 plug, the battery can be recharged up to 80% in just 40 minutes. In addition, energy can be recovered thanks to the use of an electric motor.

Blue River has built technology that uses computer vision and artificial intelligence to detect, identify, and determine treatment of plants. For instance, it can distinguish subtle differences between cotton plants and weeds.
