Two new Massey Ferguson mid-range tractors were added to the 5700 Global Series and revealed at the recent 2019 Sunbelt Ag Expo. Introduced by the AGCO Corporation, the 100-HP MF5710D and the 110-HP MF5711D were designed for efficiency in hay production, loader work, and general farm use. Both models also come equipped with the sturdy Dyna-4 transmission for high-end performance.

Manitou has added four new straight boom Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to their North American collection. The TJ 65, TJ 65+, TJ 80+, and TJ 85 all feature smooth platform operation and three steering modes. Additionally, all of these models come with the ability to make up to four concurrent movements at one time.

Vermeer’s new 50-series 3-point mowers with Quick HItch hookup are the solution you’ve been looking for to minimize the difficulty and inconvenience usually associated with hitch systems. These mowers come equipped with a blade retention system and allow for quick blade changes. With these new, more efficient models, you can hook and unhook implements with only one person easily, allowing you to use your tractor for other jobs throughout the year.

At this year’s Farm Progress Show, Hesston by Massy Ferguson debuted the new MF1316S RazorEdge pull-type disc mower conditioner for North American producers. This 16-foot, center-pivot mower model offers smooth crop feeding, optimizes crop throughput, and offers a better windrow formation and simplified service points. Operators can now cut and condition more acres per day with the help of several enhancements and upgrades from the previous MF1395 model.

At this year’s Farm Progress Show, held in August, Hesston by Massey Ferguson deuted their 9300 Series RazorBar Rotary Disc Headers made for Hesston WR9900 Series self-propelled windrowers. This industry-leading hay equipment brand from AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGCO) will be supplying North American producers with their new model as a way to optimize crop throughput and quality. New easy-to-service belt-drive augers and low-profile RazorBar rotary disc cutterbars contribute to the ability to cut and condition more acres in a single day.

Caterpillar has released 16 new models that advance the D and D2 Series notoriety for comfort, quality, and performance. These D3 Series Skid Steer Loaders (SSL) and Compact Track Loaders (CTL) offer enhancements to the operator experience, as well as track loader stability. The new D3 Series models will also support and recognize a new line of Smart Attachments with the ability to tailor the controls and operator information to match the specific tool and task at hand.

Case IH is now offering their brand new AutoBoom XRT automatic boom height control on Patriot and Trident series sprayers as an expansion of their existing high-efficiency spraying options. This next-generation technology uses a combination of chassis monitoring and sensors to see ahead of the sprayer in order to detect changes in terrain and automatically adjust the booms. The radar sensors can also be configured to maximize boom life, maintain a level spray platform, and detect the location of the ground or crop canopy for the most accurate, high-efficiency spraying. 

Case IH is expanding their Flex Hoe series of hoe air drills with the brand new Flex Hoe 900. Operators can now have the flexibility necessary to make quick adjustments across changing terrains with this durable seeding solution. The Flex Hoe 900 model is agronomically designed for efficient seeding of small grains in all ground conditions.

John Deere is now offering their Registered Apprenticeship Program to their Agriculture & Turf and Construction & Forestry dealers. The program was recently approved by the U.S. Department of Labor and is meant to provide dealers with a formalized, on-the-job, technical training plan in order to groom more highly skilled workers. The program aims to address a widespread shortage of service technicians, a problem especially felt in rural areas throughout the country.  

SnowEx has introduced their newest, large carrying capacity snow pusher, the POWER PUSHER TE. Made for skid-steers, wheel loaders, backhoes, and tractors, these models come in 8- and 10-foot wide dimensions. The most exciting feature of these new snow pushers are the steel trip-edges that are made for delivering cleaner pavement scrapes so that operators can rest assured they are getting the most out of every pass.

John Deere’s newest training facility in Coal Valley, Illinois was recently completed, offering trainees 7,500 square feet of training space. More than half of the facility - 4,0000 square feet - is covered canopy space for outdoor training and equipment walkarounds. This new Construction & Forestry Training Campus also features three classrooms that can be used individually for separate training purposes or combined in order to hold events for up to 250 people.

Case IH has recently added the 2160 large front-fold Early Riser planter to their 2000 series planter lineup. Featuring two 60-foot configurations, these planters come in 15 and 30-inch configurations specifically designed for meeting the demands that  large-scale producers face on a day-do-day basis. Created with any terrain or soil type in mind, the 2160 planter is unmatched in easy serviceability and accuracy in regards to seed depth and placement.

The RB565 Premium HD round baler is the newest addition to the Case IH round baler lineup, and possibly the most impressive, featuring the flexibility to bale a full range of crops. Outfitted with components for efficiently handling wet hay, this is an all-purpose, multicrop baler. High-efficiency hay production is the ultimate goal that is being met with this new powerhouse of a machine.

Vermeer Corporation recently announced their decision to enter into a partnership with Ontario based Tubeline Manufacturing, wherein Tubeline will help to expand the Vermeer line of hay and forage tools. This collaboration will allow Vermeer to better serve customers in provinces of Ontario, Quebec, and Maritimes.

Case IH Early Riser planters are getting a high tech upgrade this spring with the addition of new layers of of high-definition through the new Climate Corporation FieldView Cab app with FieldView Drive technology. Operators will no longer need to purchase a display exclusively for FieldView, and the tech will be available for operators of 2000 series Early Riser planters paired with a Case IH tractor that is equipped with Advanced Farming Systems (AFS) AccuGuide autoguidance. The new HD tech will display row-by-row data visualization, autoguidance line sharing, mapping, and more.

New Holland announced the debut of their GENESIS T8 Series tractor, equipped with Precision Land Management (PLM) Intelligence, New Holland’s intuitive precision farming platform. The new tractor was built in-house from square one and designed for adaptability to each individual farmer’s unique needs, featuring customizable controls, improved visibility, and enhanced comfort. The GENESIS T8 also utilizes advanced connectivity between operators, vehicles, advisors, and dealers in order to reduce downtime and improve productivity.

New Case IH 3100 Series II rigid and flex draper headers are here and ready to deliver unmatched harvest performance. The headers boast an impressive 118 product enhancements since the introduction of the original 3100 Series draper header. Improvements include improved durability, increased reliability, and ground-following capabilities.

John Deere is expanding their lineup of 6R Tractors with the addition of two new models, the 6230R and 6250R. These faster, stronger, and smarter tractors aim to bring operators an all encompassing hauling, transport, and loader work solution.

Case IH is upping the game with their latest and greatest mapping technology, which will be available on any machines equipped with AFS Soil Command. This tech will help to give producers enhanced insights that will improve operational efficiency and increase yield potential. This new mapping tech, which denotes the company’s progress in agronomic research and field mapping capabilities, adds to an already powerful suite of tillage tools and demonstrates Case IH’s commitment to advancing the future of High-Efficiency Farming.

AGCO is introducing to North America their next generation of Massey Ferguson GC1700 Series sub-compact tractors. The new GC1723E and GC1725M tractors are built on a proven, reliable drive-train, and include enhancements such as tilt steering, an integrated joystick for improved operator comfort, and improved visibility via hood changes and more powerful headlights. Ideal for mowing, snow blowing, loader and backhoe work, all of these compact tractor’s improvements provide a “big-tractor” feel.
