John Deere is rolling out three new single-motor, high-flow snow blower models just in time for peak snow-removal season. Compatible with the John Deere compact track loaders, compact wheel loaders and skid steers, the SB72D, SB78D and SB84D Snow Blowers incorporate features, such as hydraulically operated poly-lined chutes and deflectors, reinforced wrappers, adjustable skid shoes and two auger options for improved performance and durability.

The Liebherr-France SAS development and production site launches a new machine on the global market: As a successor to the R 944 C, the R 940 Demolition complements the product range, which already includes the R 950 Demolition and the R 960 Demolition.

The Liebherr engine, which complies with exhaust emissions standard Stage V, reaches an output of 200 kW, features a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), SCR system, particulate filter and does not have an EGR valve, thus ensuring lower fuel consumption and higher productivity. This machine is also available in a Tier 4 Final version, as well as for less regulated markets with a corresponding engine.

Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company’s Rivers and Lakes Division was faced with sediment-filled ditches and pockets of connecting standing water on a large dredging project in Argenta, Illinois. The contractor wanted to consider a new and more efficient approach than the traditional bucket. A unique attachment called the Ditch Doctor turned out the be the right fit.

The new Cat® 963 Track Loader combines that versatility with up to 10 percent better fuel efficiency, more productivity and cab and controllability improvements. The 963 meets U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage V emission standards. At 202 hp (151 kW) and an operating weight of 44,881 lbs (20 358 kg), the new 963 crawler loader replaces the 963K.

Doosan Bobcat North America and Green Machine Equipment announced a partnership to produce electric/hydraulic Bobcat compact excavators. Green Machine will custom retrofit Bobcat excavators with their proprietary battery technology to replace the standard diesel power source and will sell the machines in select markets beginning this year. These electric/hydraulic machines will provide the power and performance equivalent to diesel-powered models, along with considerably lower daily operating costs, zero emissions, reduced noise and minimal maintenance. The electric/hydraulic compact excavators will be beneficial to operators working in urban environments, such as working close to other buildings or in public spaces.

A high-speed driveline option is now available on Volvo Construction Equipment L45H and L50H compact wheel loaders, which more than doubles top speeds from 12 mph (20 km/h) to 31 mph (50km/h). This allows the machines to travel more quickly between jobsites and can also reduce cycle times.

Bobcat is expanding its product offering with the new Bobcat MT100 mini track loader. Powered by a durable Tier 4 diesel engine and efficient hydraulic system, the new mini track loader delivers fast cycle times, strong breakout force and excellent pushing ability. The MT100 has a rated operating capacity of 1,000 pounds and comes standard with removable counterweights, which can be mounted in the undercarriage or at the rear of the machine on the uprights, to increase lifting performance. Plus, the MT100 is equipped with a completely new, more durable undercarriage that requires no daily maintenance.

Kobelco USA introduced the enhanced SK140SRLC-7 excavator model in North America. The next-generation SK140SRLC-7 sets the standard for mid-sized machines and offers full-size benefits with short rear swing capabilities and exceptional features.
Performance advancements allow the SK140SRLC-7 to deliver greater efficiency and productivity as well as increased power and speed than its predecessor. The upgraded SK140SRLC-7 boasts a dynamic digging force of 24,800 lbs. to achieve leading-class work volume. Dig into its utilization, and you will see that a Flipscreen is widely used in multiple industries, from scrap in brazil, to waste in India, landscaping in Canada to topsoil in Australia, and everything in between. 

From big to small jobs, its time and space-saving, strength in logistics and mobility, and grade adaptation make it an indispensable tool. The real opportunities for contractors come in its ability to process materials on-site and to be able to reuse that cleaned soil, making it much cheaper to take the leftover waste material to the dump. Bobcat is introducing four all-new, 60 frame size vertical lift path loaders to its product lineup: the Bobcat® R-Series T64 and T66 compact track loaders and S64 and S66 skid-steer loaders. These new loaders will join the T76 compact track loaders and S76 skid-steer loaders that were launched February 2020. The T64 and S64 offer 68 horsepower and 2,300-pound rated operating capacity. The T66 and S66 models offer 74 horsepower and 2,450- and 2,400-pound rated operating capacity, respectively.
