New advancements to the Case IH lineup of tillage tools help create an optimal seedbed, from the flat subsurface floor to the smooth surface finish, to ensure planting success. The new harrow and rear hitch options for the Tiger-Mate 255 field cultivator provide more ways to customize the tillage tools to individual field conditions. Additionally, the True-Tandem 335VT has a new Earth Metal blade option for cutting through tough residue.

Ram Trucks unveiled their latest edition at the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois today--the Ram Harvest Edition. The new Ram model was designed specifically for America’s farm families and is visually distinguished by two new colors: Case IH Red and New Holland Blue.

John Deere has introduced its new 0 Series Round Balers, which will be available for the 2018 haying season. The eight models that comprise the new 0 Series Round Balers build upon the 9 Series Balers and include new features, including the the MegaWide HC2 feed system, that improve hay pickup and overall baling speed and productivity in the field.

In conjunction, John Deere has added two models of round bale accumulators providing the ability to carry up to two round bales behind the baler while making a third bale in the chamber.

Case IH has rolled out a new planter, the 2140 Early Riser pivot fold planter, which will help farmers more quickly convert from corn to soybeans. Six configurations are available with ultra-narrow 15-inch row spacing options combined with accurate and rugged row unit for high-efficiency planting. The new planter has an operational width of 44 feet, folds to a transport width of 13.5 feet, and provides excellent ground clearance so farmers can traverse any terrain and move from field to field.

Work zones along the highway are dangerous places and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has unveiled a work zone vehicle designed to take safety one step further for roadway maintenance crews. The Autonomous Impact Protection Vehicle (AIPV) will help improve work zone safety by removing the driver from a truck that is actually designed to be hit. The Impact Protection Vehicle is normally positioned behind road construction crews in order to protect workers from the public.

According to a report out of Reuters on Thursday, Tesla's first semi truck to market will most likely be a day cab and capable of traveling between 200 to 300 miles per charge. The source of speculation is Scott Perry, the chief technology officer at Miami-based fleet operator Ryder System Inc., who said he met with Tesla officials earlier this year to discuss the technology.

With an operating weight of 82,000 pounds (37,195 kg), the Roadtec SX-8 is capable of cutting up to 20 inches (508mm) deep and 100 inches (2,540mm) wide and is designed for road rehabilitation, cold recycling, or soil stabilization. The SX-8e/ex is the largest in the Roadtec line of soil stabillizer-reclaimer machines.

The John Deere-designed and manufactured 1050K pipelayer-ready (PL) crawlers are now available for pipeline customers. The 1050K pipelayer is available in two configurations for 170,000 pounds (PL170) and 220,000 pounds (PL220) of maximum lift capacity, has 350 horsepower, and a dual-path hydrostatic transmission.

Bobcat has rolled out their next generation of undercarriage for compact track loaders--the 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage, which provides increased performance, operator comfort and serviceability. The M2-Series T870 compact track loaders are the first Bobcat loaders manufactured with the new 5-Link torsion suspension undercarriage.

Ammann has rolled out the red carpet on their new RSS 120-M, which serves as a Shredder, Iron Separator and Screener, making it a 3-in-1 machine. It is a mobile machine that prepares recycled asphalt for use in an asphalt plant and can go from installation to production in as quickly as 30 minutes. The Ammann RSS 120-M is track-mounted for maximum mobility on all types of terrain.

AGCO's Sunflower line is introducing the SF6830 Series high-speed rotary finisher in a narrow-transport version. Available in two models, SF6830-18NT (17 feet, 8 inches) and SF6830-21NT (21 feet, 5 inches), both tools transport at the narrow roading width of 9 feet, 10 inches.

WOLFFKRAN is releasing the new WOLFF 6020 clear which will replace the WOLFF 6015 clear that was introduced in 2008. The new flat-top saddle jib will be available for customers as of September 2017. CNH Industrial and Trimble are enabling wireless connectivity between Trimble Ag Software, Case IH Advanced Farming Systems (AFS) Connect, and New Holland Precision Land Management (PLM) Connect telematics platforms in North America.
