Watch a Wheel Loader Dowse a Car on Fire During a Texas Flash Flood [VIDEO]
It's always wise to keep a trusty tractor nearby in case a fire breaks out.
As the National Weather Service and Texas Department of Public Safety often say, "Turn Around, Don't Drown." But often water rising and subsequent flash flooding can happen sooner than a person anticipates and bad things usually follow.
Nikki Carmona got stuck in one of these situations that was all captured on video by employees at
Bane Machinery, a new and used heavy equipment dealer out of Dallas, Texas. According to story featured by local news station WFAA, Nikki stopped her car and all of a sudden it burst into flames and smoke billowed from her hood and dashboard. She made it out of the vehicle safely and crews working for Bane Machinery saw what happened, jumped into their
wheel loader, and began to scoop up and dump buckets of water on her Mercedes. The fire was already out before the fire department arrived, thanks to the quick action by some folks at Bane Machinery.
