ASV, a notable name in the compact track loader and skid steer industry, has launched the VT-75 Posi-Track® compact track loader. This new addition is powered by a Yanmar engine, tailored for demanding tasks in construction and landscaping.

Engine Power and Efficiency

The VT-75 features a 74.3-horsepower Yanmar Tier 4 Final diesel engine, making it suitable for various lifting and loading tasks. This midframe loader offers a lift height of 10 feet, 5 inches, a rated operating capacity of 2,300 pounds, and a tipping load of 6,571 pounds.

Peter Ovrebo, Product Management Director for Yanmar Compact Equipment North America, highlighted its practical application:

“The VT-75 truly allows our ASV customers to do more. It fits right into the heart of the construction market where operators can make the best use of it.”

Traction and Mobility

ASV’s Posi-Track undercarriage system provides reliable traction and mobility across different terrains. The VT-75 includes two independent torsion axles per undercarriage, ensuring a smooth ride. With a ground pressure of 4.5 psi and a 12-inch ground clearance, it effectively handles various conditions, minimizing turf damage and navigating steep, wet, muddy, and slippery environments.

Performance and Features

The VT-75 is designed to enhance productivity with several optional features, such as a work-tool positioner and return-to-position technology, which help maintain attachment angles and loader arm heights. Self-leveling technology ensures stability during arm movements.

Auto 2-speed technology and speed-sensitive ride control improve maneuverability and material retention, respectively, adapting to the required task speeds.

Operator Comfort

The MAX-Series™ VT-75 aims to improve the operator experience with a cab that offers 360-degree visibility, ergonomic controls, and a 7-inch color display. The cab also includes a roof escape hatch for added safety. Adjustable seats and intuitive controls make long workdays more manageable.

Yanmar SmartAssist telematics, available as an option, provide real-time updates on machine status and operational reports, enhancing efficiency and security. Features such as remote error notifications and integrated theft protection are also included.

Maintenance and Durability

Designed for easy maintenance, the VT-75 includes a swing-out radiator, top hood, and side doors for full engine access. These features aim to reduce downtime, allowing operators to focus on their work. ASV offers a 2-year, 2,000-hour warranty, including a no-derailment guarantee and track coverage.
