Western Global Brings New Distribution Center to Western US

Western Global, a leader in fuel tank storage, has announced plans to open a new facility in Sacramento, CA.

“Our fuel tanks have continued to grow in popularity since our first U.S. location opened in 2006,” said Western Global Americas’ Vice President of Sales—John Cleary. 

“We opened our Pineville location four months ago to be closer to our east coast customers. We see this Sacramento location as the next logical progression in closing the proximity gap between customers so we can be ready for whatever their job or conditions might require.”

The new Sacramento location is aimed at enhancing Western Global's dedication to sustainability. The company is minimizing the distance trucks need to drive to ship products to destinations in an attempt to help reduce carbon emissions. In addition to this beneficial environmental impact, Western Global's products offer customers an opportunity to reduce their own carbon footprint. Transportable TransCube Global fuel containers accommodate both conventional and alternative fuels—providing fleet operators with choices to help them achieve sustainable operations.

Cleary continues: “Adding new distribution facilities throughout the United States benefits customers with faster response times and positively impacts our environment. These new facilities are strategically located throughout the country to reduce our carbon footprint and the emissions created during transport.”

Leading the Sacramento location will be Jeremy Shepherd and Jeff Lawrence. Shepherd has worked in the industrial equipment manufacturing industry for 20 years. Before joining Western Global, he managed a sales territory for an equipment manufacturer. Lawrence has spent the last 35 years in the equipment industry. His last position was managing accounts for two other equipment companies.
