Volvo FE Now Available with 350 HP

The Volvo FE 350 offers higher performance and increased payload, making it a strong contender for more demanding distribution, refuse handling and light construction duties.

Volvo FE 350
The Volvo FE is now available in a new configuration--the Volvo FE 350, which sports Volvo's 8-litre diesel D8K Euro 6 engine, producing 350 hp/1400 Nm. The Volvo FE 350 also has the new option of a front axle that can support axle loads of up to 9 tonnes. The Volvo FE 350 is designed for gross combination weights (GCW) of up to 44 tonnes and is suitable both as a single truck and as a rig towing a trailer.

The Volvo FE 350 will be available in a day cab, comfort cab, sleeper cab, or low entry cab. The D8K 350 Euro 6 engine will be available with every cab option, including low entry cab, and can be combined with Volvo's I-Shift gearbox or fully automatic transmission. The power take-off can be configured up to 600 Nm.

Wheel configurations for the FE 350 include 4x2, 6x2, 6x4, and it will be available as a 4x2 tractor. Options for the front axle include loads from 7.1 - 9 tonne while the rear axle can be configured for 13 - 23 tonne loads.

The Volvo FE 350 will be offered on all Euro 6 markets. Sales get under way at the end of June and production will start in September.
