New John Deere G-tier Wheel Loader Models Hit North America

After a successful 2021 introduction into Canada, John Deere expanded the G-Tier wheel loader lineup to the US with the 644 G-tier. Continuing the transition to Performance Tiering Strategy, customers can benefit from custom offerings that provide more performance, comforts, and affordable options. The expansion of this lineup also includes the new 544 G-tier wheel loader now available to the Canadian market. The 544 G-tier provides customers working in a variety of applications with a strong, reliable, practical machine backed by John Deere and its expansive dealer network.

Now available to the hardworking folks of the USA, the 644 G-tier includes industry-proven components and a cab design that promotes easy operation. With the 644 G-tier models, John Deere brings a great model application for governmental, rental, site development, and asphalt industries. The 644 G-tier Wheel Loaders boasts of both a stout John Deere 6.8L engine and trademark Teammate axles. These models include a variety of customizable options through multiple base-level packages, including locking differential capabilities, seat adjustment, ride control, radio, and rear chassis work-lights.

The 544 G-Tiered Loader is a compact loader that was built to meet the needs of today’s farmers who require a machine that offers good value and reliable performance. The 544 G-tier is equipped with a powerful engine that delivers high torque and power throughout the entire operating range. With a wide variety of attachments and options, the 544 G is ready to tackle a wide variety of jobs.

Expanding its capabilities, the 544 G-tier combines powerful technology with exceptional reliability, making it an ideal choice for contractors who demand high productivity. It’s backed by the industry-leading network of John Deere dealer partners, so they can provide quick access to parts and expert advice when needed.

Optional third and fourth function hydraulics expand the types of attachments the machine can accomodate—amplifying job versatility. For 544 G-tier, operators can select both pin-on bucket options as well as a Hi-Vis/ISO or JRB style couplers—compatible with K -Series, L-series, and Performance Tiering buckets as well as other attachments. For those in need of extra reach can add high-lift linkage to gain 14 more inches of hinge-pin height over stock linkage.

Constructed using John Deere loader parts and design standards, all G-tier machines are backed by the same level of service customer as come to expect — including JDLink™ Connectivity and Connected Support. The 544 G-tier and the 644 G-tier machines are both equipped with the optional John Deere Protect™ Service Plan—providing a heightened level of support for operators. The John Deere Protect™ Service Plan includes routine maintenance performed at every 500-hour interval by an experienced John Deere dealer. In addition, the John Deere Protect™ Parts & Fluids Plan gives owners the ability to utilize their own technicians for maintenance service and inspection.
