To expand its lineup of compact wheel loaders, John Deere has introduced three new models of compact wheel loaders. These new compact wheel loader models are built to provide reliable daily performance.
“As we learned from launching our performance tiering strategy on our utility loader line-up last year, customer’s needs are unique and they require personalized solutions to meet their diverse set of tasks,” says Luke Gribble, Solutions Marketing Manager, John Deere Construction and Forestry Division.
“That’s why we chose to expand our performance tiering strategy with the introduction of the G-tier Compact Wheel Loader models. These machines are not only rugged, but they boast simple and intuitive machine controls that are a great fit for operators of all experience levels, while also offering options that promote operator comfort and productivity.”
The 184, 204, and 304 G-Tiers Compact Wheel Loader provides superior work efficiency and comfort for operators and users alike. G-tier models feature an innovative ride control system to increase the stability of the bucket—allowing for operation in virtually any environment. They are equipped with a number of features designed to enhance user operation—including many advanced safety features.
On every G-tier model, the forward-thinking cabin design is available in either an open or closed cabin configuration, offering operators the option of having a clear view and performance choice. The new model is designed with operator visibility in mind for all types of operations.
A new generation of machines offers a wide range of improvements including increased productivity, enhanced safety, and better ergonomics. These new models offer operators greater comfort and convenience through advanced technology and design. These models also feature large viewing windows, easy access controls, and intuitive user interfaces.
With these enhancements, G-tier tractors feature improved operator comfort, greater productivity, and more time between refueling. They're designed for heavy-duty use, so they're built to last. These tractors are equipped with strategic placement of cooling packages to minimize contamination from debris buildup, which helps optimize performance and extend the life cycle of the equipment.
The smaller loader models in this series, such as the 184 G-tier and 204 G-tier models offer operators the ability to get into tighter spaces than ever before, which makes them an excellent choice for everything from the farm to the construction site. They're also easy to attach to a variety of attachments with "quik-tatch" or hook-style couplers.
The largest of the new machines, the 304 G-tier, offers productivity improvements while keeping most of its existing features, resulting in higher productivity. In response to market demand, the 304G-Tier’s maximum speed has been increased to 18.6 mph (30km/h). This improvement enables the 304G-Tier to perform jobs faster than before.
With its larger capacity, the new 304 G-tire compact wheel loader features improved visibility for operators and better overall stability than previous models. It also includes an optional Attachment Assist Package, which includes proportional mini joystick control with detent, combined creep control and throttle lock, and integrated electrical attachment controls (via a three-pin setup).
