Caterpillar is set to make a big splash at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2023 with its massive Operator Stadium, which is even bigger than before at 70,000 square feet. Visitors will be treated to more than 30 current model and prototype machines, as well as cutting-edge services and technologies from the manufacturer.
EV Heavy Equipment on Display
New products on show at Booth F-9127 will include model unveilings and battery-electric prototypes with charging stations. Among the models set to be unveiled are the 320 medium electric excavator, 950 GC medium electric wheel loader, 301.9 electric compact excavator, and 906 electric compact wheel loader. These were first debuted at Bauma 2022.

Caterpillar will also perform two equipment demonstrations each day, with one showcasing its latest technology and the other spotlighting its full equipment lineup. Product highlights include the Cat 950 medium wheel loader, which features simple-to-use technologies to boost operator efficiency and productivity, and extended service intervals to lower maintenance costs.
The Future of Smaller Cat Wheel Loaders
Also on display will be the Next Generation Cat 926, 930, and 938 small wheel loaders, which are slated for production in late 2023. Visitors can catch a sneak peek of these models, which feature new technologies designed to make work easier, a redesigned operator environment, and extended service intervals.
Other products on display include the Cat PM822 cold planer, which features integrated Cat Grade technology and System K rotor options that deliver performance, productivity, and cutting precision. Visitors can also check out the Cat AP455, a compact paver that features a new 3-dimensional screed plate with a modular fastening system for improved mat density and smoothness. According to Caterpillar, this new technology reduces screed plate change time by up to 80%.
Caterpillar will also have subject matter experts on hand to guide attendees through various maintenance options for Cat equipment, including Customer Value Agreements, Cat Certified Rebuild programs, Cat Reman, and Cat Self-Service Options. Team members from Cat Financial will be available to discuss the latest leasing and financing programs, including the Cat Card and extended protection packages.
Preview the Tech Future of Cat Equipment
Attendees can experience a range of new and existing Cat technologies at the Technology Hub, including VisionLink, Cat Command, VisionLink Productivity, Cat Detect, Cat Grade, and Cat Payload. There will also be a "Looking Glass" cube that interactively showcases the five key capabilities of the new Cat VisionLink application. Additionally, multiple Cat Command stations will enable attendees to remotely operate Cat machines located more than 400 miles away at the Tinaja Hills Demonstration and Learning Center.
The Sustainability Hub will showcase fuel efficiency and alternative power sources, including Caterpillar's total site solution for the energy transition. Visitors can also check out Cat battery-prototype machines and AC and DC charging solutions.
Experience the Future of Fuel for Heavy Equipment
Caterpillar Industrial Power Systems will also be showcasing a new high-power internal combustion engine and lithium-ion battery technologies under development at Booth S-84329 in the South Hall. Engines on display, such as the C3.6 IPU, C7.1, and C9.3B, meet EU Stage V and U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final emission standards and are compatible with biodiesel up to B20 and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) to EN15940. Remanufactured and service replacement engines will also be featured.
