Vermeer has entered into a distribution agreement with Conmeq Construction Equipment & Machinery B.V., to supply Conmeq-branded electric mini skid steer loaders to be sold, serviced and supported through Vermeer industrial dealers in Europe.

Vermeer is expanding its horizontal direction drilling (HDD) fluid management equipment line and launching its first electric-powered reclaimer with the new Vermeer R500 reclaimer. This is the first model released by Vermeer from the acquisition of electric-powered horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and fluid systems technology from Normag in 2020. The all-electric R500 reclaimer is a key part of the Vermeer strategy to meet growing demand for electric-powered jobsite solutions.

Vermeer upgrades its truck-mounted vacuum excavator line with the new VXT300 truck vac. The VXT300 is outfitted with an 8-cubic-yard (6.1-m3) spoil tank, 6-inch (15.2-cm) dig tube and the ability to carry up to 800 gallons (3,028 L) of water so crews can maximize productivity on the job. It is one of the lightest truck vacs in its class and designed with a low overall height of just 11.5 feet (3.51 m) to efficiently transport spoils from the jobsite to the dumpsite.

Vermeer Corporation introduces four industry-leading concepts to help customers optimize their hay operations: a patent-pending autonomous bale mover, patent-pending onboard bearing temperature sensors, automated baling assistance technology and Forage Commander –– a field data management app. These innovations are designed to help overcome the growing agricultural labor challenges and tight timelines producers continue to face.

Vermeer is updating its trommel screen line with the new Vermeer TR6450 trommel screen, which is capable of sorting up to three product sizes at once. The TR6450 features adjustable front-fines, rear-fines and overs conveyor for efficient multi-product production.

Vermeer announced it has acquired electric-powered horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and fluid systems technology from Normag. Through this acquisition, Vermeer assumes the rights to develop, manufacture and distribute the proven fully electric HDD rigs, generator sets and fluid management systems, which are currently operating across Europe under the Normag brand.

Vermeer is expanding its pile driver product line with the introduction of two new models. The Vermeer PD5R and PD5 pile drivers combine efficient operation and accuracy into a compact, lightweight machine well suited for working on solar installation projects, congested jobsites, and civil fencing and guardrail installation applications.

Vermeer has expanded its electric-powered recycling product line with the addition of the new TR5300EM trommel screen. This new trommel screen is powered by an industrial-duty, fan-cooled 60-hp (44.7-kW) electric motor, and delivers a drum speed of 0-24 revolutions per minute to handle multiple material types, including compost, topsoil and wood biomass. The quiet operating TR5300EM also features a low hopper infeed with a capacity of 5.5 yd3 (4.2 m3) and includes new service and operating enhancements. The Vermeer TR5300EM is an excellent addition to recycling and organic material processing companies looking to help reduce exhaust emissions, noise levels and maintenance. 

Vermeer is enhancing its stump cutter product line with the introduction of the patent-pending Vermeer cutting system (VCS). The VCS incorporates a new tooth design that helps reduce pocket rotation and a cutter wheel that reduces material from recirculating during operation. The VCS is available now on select new Vermeer stump cutters and will soon be available across the entire line, as well as an option for many existing models.

Vermeer has introduced the D220x500 S3 Navigator horizontal directional drill. With the ability to be configured for large-diameter water and utility installs in urban areas, as well as challenging pipeline work, the Vermeer D220x500 S3 delivers up to 54,000 foot pounds (39,828.2 Nm) of torque at a spindle speed of 36 revolutions per minute, 240,400 pounds (1069.4 kN) of thrust/pullback, and fluid flow rates of up to 350 gallons per minute (1324.9 L/min) if the onboard pump is selected.

Vermeer continues to expand its trommel screen product line with the introduction of the new TR6400 model. The compact trommel screen designed for topsoil, compost and woody biomass applications, allows for ease of transportation and maintenance and larger production of finished material.

Vermeer has entered into a distribution agreement with MultiOne, a leading manufacturer of compact articulated loaders. Through the agreement, MultiOne will supply Vermeer-branded loader models to be sold, serviced and supported exclusively through Vermeer dealers across North America and the Caribbean.

Vermeer’s latest vacuum excavator, the XR2, features the newest advancement in hydro-excavation: a shaker deck that separates liquids and solids. This new system reduces hydro-excavator transport weights and allows operators to carry 1500 gallons of water to the job. The innovative technology of the XR2 demonstrates Vermeer’s dedication to driving the utility industry forward, as it decreases disposal expenses and allows for workers to stay on the jobsite longer due to increased efficiency.
