Caterpillar’s newest multi-processor models are here, delivering heavy-duty results with their 19 percent greater cutting/crushing forces and their 50 percent faster cycle times than previous models. The MP332, MP345, and MP365 feature multiple interchangeable jaws, each with their own storage stand, that can perform a variety of high-production, specialized tasks for demolition purposes. Additionally, their innovative locking system allows a single operator to change jaws with only standard hand tools within 15 minutes or less.

Select Bobcat equipment purchased after January 1st, 2019 is now covered under a 2 year/2,000-hour standard warranty. The warranty will cover whichever of the 2 years or 2,000 hours comes first.

John Deere revealed their three newest L-Series utility wheel loaders, all with more power and suited for the versatility required of job sites and farms. The 524L, 544L and 624L were all designed with the operator in mind, given a much more comfortable cab with increased visibility, additional storage room, heaters, and more. Other new features, including electrohydraulic (EH) loader controls, redesigned near-parallel linkage, and enhanced performance buckets also aid in making these nimble machines more intuitive for operators of all skill levels.

Caterpillar’s 990K Aggregate Handler is your new solution for boosting wheel loader production in rehandling applications. Designed to handle greater payloads, (up to 25 percent more,) compared to the standard 990K, this new handler allows operators to load trucks and railcars faster and more efficiently. John Deere has expanded their Worksite Pro attachments collection yet again with the addition of their five new pickup and three new angle brooms. The BP72C, BP84C, BR60C, BR72C, and BR84C pickup brooms and the BA72C, BA84C, and BA96C angle brooms were designed for simple and easy cleanup in construction applications, as well as snow and turf. These brooms are compatible with John Deere compact track loaders and skid steers, as well as competitive models.

Cat’s next generation of motor grader, the Cat 120, is designed with with the customer in mind first and foremost, featuring a more comfortable cab with enhanced visibility and display screens, as well as many customizable options that tailor the machine to the operator’s application specific preferences. Some of these options include the ability to choose between steering wheel/lever or joystick controls, tandem or all-wheel drive, and a range of scalable grade control technologies. Additionally, with the help of the Cat C7.1 engine, the new motor grader needs 15% less fuel when used in combination with ECO mode.

Caterpillar’s brand new Cat GRADE with 3D system is the tech of the future, featuring an automatic grade control system which uses GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) to position the machine’s blade with precision without the help of the operator from the beginning to the finished grade. Made for D3K2, D4K2 and D5K2 track-type tractors, this system also comes equipped with the Cat AccuGrade Ready Option, which gives the operator the ability to use universal-total-station and laser references for automated control. This all encompassing system reduces staking costs, rework expenses, fuel, and machine hours while allowing operators of all skill levels to achieve specified grades quicker and more accurately.

John Deere has recently unveiled the all-new 655K and 755K Crawler Loaders as the newest addition to their K-series lineup. Designed in Dubuque, Iowa, the new models feature increased productivity and uptime, as well as lower operating costs. CASE Construction Equipment recently unveiled the new 836C and 856C, designed to maximize productivity and performance, as a part of their new C Series of motor graders. These new models are compliant with Tier 4 Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) engine technology, which increases fuel efficiency, lowers exhaust temperatures, and eliminates the need for regeneration. The new motor graders also features new horsepower ratings, weights, and feature-driven grading solutions, as well as the ability to choose between All Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.

Ammann has announced that their new ARX 91 Articulated Tandem Roller will be able to compact layers of asphalt from thin to thick in fewer passes. This roller’s increased compaction output will benefit medium and large jobsites that feature infrastructure related paving projects, such as roads, airfields, harbors, and parking lots. The feat of compacting from thin to thick layers so quickly will save operators both time and money down the line.

Cat’s newest additions to the Backhoe Loader model line-up include the 440 and 450 center pivot models, which are meant to provide industry-leading lifting performance, along with high breakout forces and improved operating comfort and ergonomics. The new 440 now features redesigned single tilt loader arms, which provide parallel lift and a wide range of versatility for different applications, along with a whopping 25 percent lifting improvement factor over the previous 430F2 model. The new 450 features a 15 percent higher backhoe lifting capacity than the previous 450F model, as well as a new comfort-centric cab.

John Deere is expanding their lineup of Worksite Pro attachments, as well as their offering of job site cleanup solutions, with their brand new GS66B, GS72B, GS78B, GS84B scrap grapple buckets and GR72B and GR84B rock grapple buckets. The scrap grapple buckets are the perfect solution for any job site cleanup application where grappling power is necessary for handling materials such as for disaster cleanup and recycling center use. The rock grapple buckets, also ideal for job site cleanup, come with land clearing and brush removal capabilities, with the added benefit of being able to grade sites after debris removal.
