Deere Acquires Italian Crop Sprayer Manufacturer Mazzotti

Mazzotti is a 30-year-old family-owned business and will maintain its name, trademark, and commercial agreements.

Mazzotti IBIS 3180 Crop Sprayer
John Deere announced this week that it will be purchasing Mazzotti, a privately-held agriculture sprayer manufacturer based in Ravenna, Italy. This acquisition comes less than a month after John Deere announcing they will purchase the Wirtgen Group.

Mazzotti is a 30-year-old family-owned business and will maintain its name, trademark, and commercial agreements. Mazzotti will have new support with John Deere's resources and product groups and it is fair to assume we will look for John Deere to utilize Mazzotti's successful expertise in the sprayer line of products.
"Mazzotti is known for its innovation as well as its unique knowledge, designs, and expertise in the sprayer industry. The acquisition of Mazzotti provides John Deere an opportunity to serve more customers in European markets."
- John May, President, Agricultural Solutions & Chief Information Officer.
