Autostrada Polska will officially be held in Targi Kielce from May 8-10th in 2018. The expo is teaming up with other event correspondents, such as the International Fair of Infrastructure, the Airport Technologies and Infrastructure Exhibition Traffic Expo , the International Construction Equipment and Special Vehicles Fair, MASZBUD, and the International Fair of Road Transport, and the Commercial Vehicles ROTRA to create an event of massive proportions. Last year alone brought together 418 companies from twenty countries all over the world to their exhibition site, which took place in an exhibition area of over 30,000 meters and hosted more than 14,000 visitors.
For over 20 years, the expo has been a one-stop-shop for the business sector, the presentation platform for the latest developments in the construction industry. In addition to a wide portfolio of machines for roads, bridges, over-bridges, tunnels, petrol stations construction and maintenance, the expo stands will abound with technological novelties crafted as a response to the industry's need and demand.
Tradition and prestige
The exhibition's importance and prestige is demonstrated by the presence of well-known industry personages. The Ministry of Infrastructure, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Road Construction Industry, the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Association of Construction Industry Employers, the Chief Labour Inspector have granted the expo with their honorary patronage. The expo enjoys the support of the most important research units and associations, such as: the Road and Bridge Research Institute, the Institute of Mechanised Construction and Rock Mining, the Construction Equipment Research Institute, Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers, Polish Asphalt Pavement Association, Association of Transport Technicians and Engineers, Traffic Engineering Club, Polish Road Congress Association.
Industry's Most Topical Issues in the Spotlight
Every year the expo brings together business-insiders and specialists - their support results in a rich offer of expo-accompanying events. The "Modern diagnostics and road surfaces repairs" conference devoted to cutting edge diagnostics methods is one of the expo's highlights. Following previous years' example, the conference organized by IBDiM is a scientific forum designed to exchange opinions and observations related to the diagnosis of all types of surfaces and various repairs methods. The seminar organizer - the Road and Bridge Research Institute looks forward to your presence, the discussion panels focus upon: the surface technical condition assessment, non-destructive testing application in surface diagnostics, surface load capacity assessment, non-destructive methods for road surfaces examinations. The meeting is also designed to discuss the road surface repairs methodology issues: pavement reinforcements designs, renovations and reconstructions technologies, surface recycling, surface strengthening with the use of nets and meshes, urban suburban repairs specificity are among the discussion topics of the conference. The socio-environmental aspects will also be addressed.
We also invite you to participate in the "Road and rail infrastructure - past, present, future" conference organized by the Kielce Branch of the Republic of Poland's Association of Transport Technicians and Engineers held on 9 May. The topic of one of the seminars organized by Construction Equipment Research Institute within the scope of the expo is "Technical safety of construction equipment and vehicles". The annual Aggregate Exhibition organized by the Institute of Mechanized Construction and Rock Mining and Targi Kielce is a permanent fixture in the expo calendar; the Autostrada and Maszbud program was expanded to include the event in 2012. The Aggregate Exhibition is the initiative designed to integrate companies of the broadly defined aggregates business sector, those involved in acquisition and mining, through processing, transport and use. This is the platform for exhibitors and visitors designed to discuss the business sector's most topical issues.
Dynamic on a Spectacular Scale
The expo abounds with the dynamic show-presentations staged in the outdoor exhibition grounds. Machines operators are most welcome to join the Competition for Construction Machines Operators BIG BAU MASTER – the fifth edition is held under the banner of the competition which involves best machines operators from all over Poland. Following last years' example, there will the "Live Services" Tire Repair at the Tire Review's expo stand. The expo stand of the Tire Review editorial team is the stage for live demonstrations - tyres change in large trucks, and construction machines- ORT type. The shows will be held for the three days of the road construction expo - this is the chance for visitors to seek advice from experts
