Hiab, part of Cargotec, launches the next generation of LOGLIFT forestry cranes with greater and safer performance, and improved uptime. The first crane available to order is the Z boom crane LOGLIFT 18Z with a max outreach of 10.4 meters (34 feet) and a max lifting capacity of 18 tonne metre (tm).

WALTCO, part of Hiab, is launching two new heavy-duty liftgates with a lifting capacity of 3,300 and 4,400 lbs. The two models, WALTCO HDC 33/44 and WALTCO ZS 33/44 MK2, are high-quality liftgates designed to maximize uptime and ease of operation, while keeping both the operator and the working environment safe.

Hiab, part of Cargotec, recently introduced the MOFFETT E5 NX as the third model in the eSeries of all-electric truck mounted forklifts. The MOFFETT E5 NX is the specialist for medium to heavy-duty tasks lifting up to 2,500 kg and it has been nominated for an IFOY AWARD in the category Special Vehicle / Warehouse Truck. It is the world's first electric truck mounted forklift with a moving mast.

Hiab has released the MOFFETT E4 NX, its next generation eSeries of electric forklifts and the world’s first all electric 3-wheel drive truck mounted forklift.

Inside the chassis of a MOFFETT M4, Hiab has constructed a zero-emission truck mounted forklift powered by lithium ion batteries with new controllers and the new HMI (Human Machine Interface) that displays battery capacity, machine performance and service information. The MOFFETT can be charged from a regular household socket or a 30 amp socket for faster charging, as well as from the truck in between deliveries.

Hiab, part of Cargotec, is extending their standard warranty globally to now encompass two years for all LOGLIFT and JONSERED forestry and recycling crane models. Terms and conditions will remain the same as before, with the three year warranty still applying to steel components. The warranty will be valid for any cranes ordered after August 1st of 2019.

Hiab, part of Cargotec, debuted a new crane specifically designed for use with underground refuse containers at the ReinigingsDemoDagen (RDD) trade show in Utrecht, the Netherlands earlier this June. The HIAB S-HiPro 230W has been engineered for operator ease of use in order to safely and efficiently perform job duties in chaotic urban environments. With this crane, even new operators can learn how to quickly get the job done in increasingly crowded city centers without incurring damages or injuries.

Hiab, part of Cargotec, will be launching their next generation of popular column lift for light duty vehicles. To be showcased at the Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham, the new DL500 will be on display at Hiab’s UK stand 4C10 at the CV Show. This new, lighter model, which will be introduced through the remainder of 2019, is easier to install and comes equipped with new safety features.

Earlier this month, Hiab, part of Cargotec, launched Hiab BodyWorks for heavy cranes and Hiab T-Body for Biab T-series light range cranes. Both of these new modular installation systems for truck bodies are constructed weld-free with parts that are easy to remove and replace. Additionally, these modules are pre-manufactured to reduce body installation times and costs, getting operators on their way faster.

Hiab has excitedly announced the winner of the World Crane Championship (WCC) held on September 22nd and 23rd in connection with the IAA exhibition in Hannover, Germany. Andreas Öhman from Sweden won the championship final with a time of 2:32:89. Jani Väisänen from Finland came in second place with a time of 2:38:95, and Tim Hansen from Denmark came in third place with a time of 2:33:18 after winning the bronze final.
