2020 Mack Granite, MP8 435hp engine, Allison 4500RDS automatic transmission

The Vermeer VXT600 vacuum truck is the lightest in its class and features an elongated spoil tank design with even weight distribution for easy offloading. The truck is equipped with a Jurop 6,400-cfm (181.2-m3/min) blower capable of 27 inHg (.91 bar) while keeping noise to a minimum. The VXT600 also has a side stow boom that allows for quick jobsite setup by allowing the dig tube to always stay connected.

The VXT600 is powered by a Kenworth T880 or Mack Granite truck with a 510 hp (380 kW) or 505 hp (377 kW) engine, respectively. It has a 12yd3 (11 m3) spoil tank capacity and a 1,200 gal (4,542 L) water tank capacity. The VXT600 also comes standard with a 5 ft (1.5 m) dig tool 8 in (20 cm) diameter, a 5 ft (1.5 m) dig tool 6 in (15 cm) diameter, and (3) 5 ft (1.5 m) extensions 8 in (20 cm) diameter.

Optional features for the VXT600 include a spoil tank vibrator, an 180-cfm (5-m3/min), 110-psi (7.58-bar) compressor, a water heater, and winter packages for operation in cold climates.
