This truck-mounted Vermeer VXT600 880S SFA vacuum excavator features a transmission PTO that allows for simultaneous truck mobility and vacuum operation. The system boasts an elongated spoil tank design with even weight distribution, making it the lightest vacuum truck in its size class. Its full-open cam-over rear door lifts to a 50-degree angle for quick offloading. The ultra-quiet Jurop 6,400-cfm (181.2-m3/min) blower is capable of 27 inHg (.91 bar) while minimizing noise. A side stow boom allows for quick jobsite setup by keeping the dig tube always connected. Optional features include a spoil tank vibrator for efficient dumping, a 180-cfm (5-m3/min) air compressor for air excavation and pneumatic tools, and winter packages with a water heater for operation in cold climates. The VXT600 offers a 12 yd3 (11 m3) spoil tank capacity, a 23 ft (7 m) boom length, and a 1,200-gal (4,542 L) water tank. It's equipped with a 2-micron washable filter, various dig tools, and a full-function wireless remote-control option.
