Komatsu Set to Acquire TimberPro

A move that will extend Komatsu’s full-length-tree market and provide loggers with more competitive options

Komatsu America Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TimberPro, Inc.

Komatsu America Corp. announced yesterday that they have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the forestry machine manufacturer, TimberPro. Komatsu is expected to close on this deal on April 1, 2019, subject to all closing conditions being met.

Established in 2002, TimberPro is a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of purpose-built forest machines and attachments, offering tracked feller bunchers and harvesters, forwarders, wheeled harvesters, and felling heads.
