Manitou North America, a leading equipment manufacturer, is set to take center stage at the upcoming Celebration of Construction on the National Mall festival in Washington, D.C. From May 14-16, 2023.

Manitou announced Dual Fuel as an option on the MI 25 G and the MI 30 G Industrial forklifts in North America. This option allows customers to power their industrial forklift with LPG or gasoline with a simple dashboard mounted switch. The dual fuel option on these 5,000 – 6,000 lb. units allow your customers more versatility by being able to choose what energy source is best for their indoor or outdoor applications.

Manitou is adding the new VJR 26 vertical mast platform to its elevated work platform product line up for the North America market. Compact and maneuverable, this model consists of a vertical telescopic mast, electric travel motor and a perforated steel basket meeting all your industrial requirements. With a 350-degree turret rotation, it offers operator’s greater flexibility and access with minimal repositioning. The compactness of the VJR 26 work platform allows operators to pass through most industrial doors accessing work heights up to 32' with an impressive reach of 10'4".

Manitou has added four new straight boom Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) to their North American collection. The TJ 65, TJ 65+, TJ 80+, and TJ 85 all feature smooth platform operation and three steering modes. Additionally, all of these models come with the ability to make up to four concurrent movements at one time.

Manitou North America is holding an exclusive meet and greet event with the IndyCar Series Driver and Manitou Ambassador, Graham Rahal, on February 18th from 12-4pm. Manitou will be showcasing all of their rental solutions across the Manitou, Gehl, and Mustang brands at the upcoming ARA Show in Anaheim, California on February 17-20th at booth 6357/6353, as well as a press event on the 19th from 11-12pm in Mezzanine C. Manitou of North America will be exhibiting their newest products at the World of Concrete expo in Las Vegas. Being held this February 3-7th, the all encompassing brand will be introducing new products from their Manitou, Gehl, and Mustang lineups at the interactive outdoor booth, (#O31054,) in the Silver Lot. This year’s annual dealer meeting for Manitou, held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, featured the unveiling of several new Manitou, Gehl, and Mustang by Manitou machines. With nearly 300 North American dealers in attendance, the meeting showed off new products for construction, agriculture, industry, and rental markets. All positioned for the North American market, products seen ranged from skid and track loaders to telehandlers and mobile elevated work platforms.

Manitou is now offering an even more expansive lineup of forklifts for their North American market. The new additions include eight internal combustion diesel models joining the Manitou MI Industrial Forklift Range, and four new electric models joining the ME Industrial Forklift Range. This means that Manitou’s line of North American industrial forklifts now consists of 12 MI models and 14 ME models total.

Manitou recently introduced their three brand new North American MTA Easy74 telescopic handler models. These consist of the MTA 6642 Easy74, MTA 8044 Easy74 and MTA 10055 Easy74, all of which come with 74-horsepower and the same reliability customers have come to know and love. Each handler also comes with a turbocharged diesel engine and three steering modes.

Manitou will be featuring their electric mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) and three industrial forklifts at the upcoming MODEX Show in Atlanta Georgia on April 9-12th. This demonstration will include the AETJ 49 electric-powered model, which has never been shown in a trade show in North America until now. In an effort to promote the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN, Manitou group has announced its newest initiative, Elevation Frontiers. This initiative aims to prioritize the already defined Sustainable Goals established by the UN in order to secure a more viable future. Manitou will be working with select universities in order to develop innovative business solutions that work to advance these goals and pave the way for a sustainable future.
