Headquartered in Brighton, Colorado, Generator Source is a full-service reseller of new and used industrial backup generators. Our in-house team of expert sales-people, EGSA technicians, procurement staff, and logistics team provides fully tested and capable generator solutions to customers in the United States and abroad.

Generator Source is also proud to service and repair generators to ensure reliable backup power for our local service areas of Colorado, Florida, Southern Wyoming & Georgia. We provide full service end to end solutions including; preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, heavy and light repair, engine rebuilding, fuel delivery, and 24/7 Emergency Service options.

Products Offered
Our primary focus is on large engines and diesel-powered generators from 50kW to 3 Megawatts. We specialize in Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit sales and service, but also carry a wide range of other manufacturers such as Onan, Kohler, Allis Chalmers, Perkins, SDMO, Generac, and more, all viewable in our up-to-date Inventory of Generators. In addition to diesel products, we also buy and sell other types of generator sets, including natural gas, propane, and electric. We do not offer small home or RV generators. Company Headquarters - Brighton, Colorado
The company headquarters is located in Brighton Colorado (near Denver). The location has is a massive 14-acre facility. In 2015, we completed construction on a 20,000 square foot office and indoor warehouse. This adds to our other structures including a 10,000 square foot fabrication shop.
South East Region - Jacksonville, Florida
Generator Source also has a 5-acre facility in Jacksonville, Florida to better serve our clients in the South East. We used our 40 year history of generator sales and service to optimize the facility. The location is setup with an equipment yard, forklift, crane, generator inventory, and offers field service to businesses throughout the South East Region.
Company History
The company was established as Diesel Service & Supply in January of 1981. Since that time, Generator Source has grown from a small 1,250 square foot one-man business, to a 14-acre industrial complex. Generator Source has full machine shop capabilities, overhead bridge cranes, a full-service multi-port garage, an experienced staff of the industry's top mechanics and technicians, the best testing equipment and de-installation tools, and a friendly and knowledgeable office staff that can assist you with all your industrial diesel and power generation needs.
In it’s 30-year history, Generator Source has supplied backup generators to organizations large and small. Sprint, Wal-Mart, CITGO, Halliburton, Clear Channel Communications, the US Government, many farms, and the Denver International Airport are just a small sampling of our satisfied customers.

Leveraging the expertise of our technicians, Generator Source began offering in-house and field maintenance to Colorado and Southern Wyoming customers in 2017. The company’s fleet of fully-equipped service trucks and load bank trailers helps technicians maintain and repair generators in any situation, from 20 kW up to 3 MW. Generator Source’s rental generators can replace customer units during service or load banking.
