These are genuine Caterpillar C-15 / 3406E crankshafts p/n 160-1799 from unused military inventory. These also fit the Perkins 2306 model engines as p/n CH11176. The crankshafts have been cleaned, lightly polished and precision inspected at a professional crankshaft machine shop. Each crankshaft has two journals that have a small patch of minor pitting from sitting in storage (see detailed photos). The affected areas are small and not in critical positions.
