Our 1993 Ford F800 has been a part of the fire department’s fleet since 2010, when it was purchased from a neighboring department. This truck has 13,558 actual miles on it. We have put very few miles on it since owning it; typically less than 500 miles per year. It comes with a turbo 7.8 diesel motor producing 210 HP and 510 ft-lb of torque. The transmission is an Allison MT 643 that shifts smoothly through all gears without issue. It was purpose-built as a water tender and hold 2,000 gallons with dual rear 2 ½” inlets. The steer tires are Hercules H-902, and the drive tires are Dynatrac DR-770. All tires are 11R22.5 with excellent tread left and no plugs or patches in them. The air brakes on this unit work well, with no leaks in the air tanks or piping. The apparatus has been well-taken care of during its time here and was in service until 2/26/25. This truck has worked very well for many years, and has no mechanical issues we are aware of. It starts with ease and shifts smoothly. Personnel perform in-depth weekly checks of the apparatus, and routine maintenance/fluid replacements were been performed by third-party companies. Multiple service records have been included in this listing, along with an inspection form completed on 2/26/25 when it was removed from service. Underneath the vehicle we found no damage, rust or pitting. The frame appears solid, and the only fluid film or buildup looks to have come from yearly fluid changes. We have included a video showing engine start-up, idle, and shifting through gears. The truck was full of water when the video was taken. The pump is a Gorman-Rupp 03H-GR-1 providing approximately 400 GPM. It is plumbed to support one 2 ½” discharge at the pump panel, one 1 ¾” crosslay running along the side of the tank, and one 1” booster line with 100’ of hose in the first compartment. We have the pump manual as well. The tank was built by Oilmen’s Truck Tank in Spartanburg, SC and has the appropriate tank baffles inside. It has a manually operated Newton dump valve. All equipment pictured will come with the truck. The body is straight and in good condition. There is typical worn paint on the side steps, scratches, rust spots around the insides of some compartment doors, rust on the floors of some compartments and slight damage to the rear bumper. All of these issues have been pictured as much as possible.
